Antony Forshaw – Owner/Managing Director
“I joined the company in 2010 after 10 years in the Royal Marines, serving in Northern Ireland, Iraq and 2 tours in Afghanistan, leaving as an Acting Major. My grandfather “Capt Ivan” always said he thought I would take over the company and hopefully he’d be proud of how the business has developed today. The 4th Generation of Forshaw’s are in the wing with two sons, Rex and Milo the business will continue for another generation”.
Simon Spenceley – Parts Manager
“I joined the company in 1985 as an apprentice technician and spent ten years working in the service and restoration side of the business under the guidance of Ivan & Richard Forshaw. This work included the restoration of the 1928 Lagonda works team cars, DB3S sports racing cars and various vintage motorcycles together with servicing and maintenance of owner’s David Brown era Aston Martins. When Richard passed away in 1995 I moved into the parts side of the business to help Roger continue the good work of his father and brother.”
Grahame Bartlett – Parts Store Manager
“I’ve worked for Aston Service-Dorset for 5 years and my current role is Stores Manager incorporating all the Picking & Packing of orders and receiving of Goods In deliveries. Home life is a quiet one living out in the country with my partner & two pugs. Interests range from Gardening to Travelling in my Motorhome having recently returned from a three-week tour around Europe taking in six countries.”
Kyle Willis – Webshop & Data Entry
“I handle photo editing and product photography for our online shop, ensuring every part is presented clearly and professionally. I also manage deliveries and collections with our suppliers, assist with general administrative tasks when needed, and support the workshop team when required.”
Graham Luther – Mechanic/Technician
“Started helping out in family garage around aged ten. Including serving petrol in all weathers. Went to college for qualifications. Carried out MOT tests for ASD for decades. Continued to work/partner in family business until business closed in 2023 for parents retiring, where I joined the ASD.”
Graham Sheppard – Mechanic/Technician
“Graham is a versatile and qualified ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) vehicle technician with over 40 years of experience. Multi-franchised trained with After Sales Management experience and Parts and Service Management, Graham also specialises in classic car restoration. When away from work, Graham can be found on the race track with Classic Mini Racing UK!”
Toby Eyles-Jones – Mechanic/Technician
“I’m Toby. I’m a heritage mechanic here at Aston Service Dorset. I handle a lot of the engine rebuilds and restoration work, and I also know my way around the modern models. I have always had an interest in cars and the mechanics of them so feel very lucky to be working on these lovely cars.”
Evan Le Sueur – Heritage Apprentice
“Hello, I am Evan. I joined Aston Service Dorset in 2025 as a Heritage Skills Academy Apprentice after having completed my A-levels at Poole High Sixth Form. I am keen to learn, and I am really enjoying having the privilege to work on these beautiful cars.”
Jeff Lawry – Company Chef and all the jobs no one else wants to do
“Jeff- I’ve worked here for 15 years and been in the trade for over 40 years. I’ve been self-employed and also worked for various tuning companies, and I worked on the British Touring Cars for 9 years in the 1980’s.”
Colin Nye – Service Advisor
“I’m Colin, the workshop Service Advisor. I’ve been in the motor trade for over 15 years, primarily as a Service Advisor in main dealers and independent workshops where I have built a strong background in customer relations. Working with the Aston Martin brand is a childhood dream. It’s a privilege to be a part of Aston Service Dorset.”
